Prelude to a Poet-Seer
About
SHE CAN’T BE SILENCED.
Within Fedelm arises a powerful poetic and prophetic voice, a voice her tribe tries to silence forever. To liberate her voice, Fedelm pledges to an otherworldly queen, the Mórrígan, to become a poet-seer and tell the untold tales of the peoples who ruled Ireland long ago. But she finds the path to becoming a poet-seer difficult and dangerous. And if she fails to uphold her pledge, the Mórrígan will bind her tongue for good.
Prelude to a Poet-Seer is the first book in the Book of Fedelm series, a reimagining of the life of Fedelm, a character in the Irish epic, the Cattle Raid of Cooley, often called The Táin.
